Hana Beaman is an icon of snowboarding. Her more than twenty-year career and journey from contest-focused Southern Californian to globally traveled and backcountry-experienced veteran reflects not only her ability to evolve with a constantly pivoting snowboard community, but also her passion to push the boundaries of what a professional athlete is capable of after years of industry ups and downs, travel miles, and heavy bails.
To cover all those moments in-between rides, we teamed up to release the MTE Standard Mid Chelsea X Hana Beaman Waterproof Boot. Practical, packable, and wear-at-the-bar-able, this downsized slip-on version of Vans’ best-selling Standard snow boot has all the waterproofing, insulation, and traction you need to make every day your best. It is made with leather and rubber uppers.

MOISTURE MANAGEMENT: The waterproof vulcanized and seam-sealed construction keeps snow and wet out.
THERMOREGULATION: Shoveling the walkway, walking the dog, or running to the market—we all want warm feet on a cold day, and the downsized 100-gram weight insulation package gets the job done.
TRACTION: Specially designed for cruising around in cold weather conditions, the Standard Snow MTE™ outsole with All-Trac, a cold weather-specific all-terrain rubber compound, is designed to offer next-level grip and traction for variable terrain.
STRETCH GORE: A lightweight and resilient stretch material has been added to the opening of the boot to allow ease of movement and easy on-and-off.
The Kiana Dual BOA® features a precise fit and progressive flex focused on freestyle performance. This mid-flexing boot features zonal customization and our Precision Harness, securing your heel to provide an articulated fit. Built with FTR construction, the Kiana offers a light and durable design with superior grip and dampening underfoot.
A progressive flex is paired with our Precision Harness to secure your heel to the back of your boot, ensuring a precise and articulated fit.
FTR construction and a heat moldable Response Liner ensure long lasting comfort, while a Damplite outsole pairing EVA and Contagrip provide support and dampening underfoot.
Using at least 20% of recycled materials throughout the liner and upper, this boot features Fit To Ride design, ensuring long lasting durability.
An internal harness integrated into the lacing system that wraps the forefoot, locking down the heel and ankle for ultimate support and a fully-enveloped, articulated fit.
An outsole design that combines a proprietary winter-specific rubber with ultra-damp EVA foam for a precise balance of comfort, traction, and support.
Two separate dials and lace paths work with the boot’s cuff to isolate fi t into two distinct zones. The upper zone dials in fl ex and stability, the lower zone locks the forefoot.

Fitted with Intuition Plush Foam Liners and the H4 BOA Coiler Fit System, which provides a uniform fit to your foot. The Closer Lace Guide evens the lace tension across the entire boot. C.A.T. technology allows for a custom fit in the calf zone for increased comfort. Lock Down Turbo provides secure, no slack liner lace hold. Grip Lite Sole combines +Slime Midsole with rubber pods for durability and traction. The Sage is a medium flexing boot for riders of all ability levels.
