In the winter of 1991, snowboarding's identity began taking shape. Kids from the east and midwest descended on the mountains of Colorado, bringing with them theier skate-focused style of riding. A powerful shift in snowboarding set in motion. Stumps, downed trees, natural features in the environment had all previously been irrelevant. Now, they were sought out and the "jib" era of riding was born. Joyride was one of the first to bring a true twin-shape board to the snow with iconic flower pot. With minor modifications, three decades later this board stands out among its competitors demonstrating just how ahead of the times it was in its infancy.
